They're a bunch of guys who wear red ties, and surprise ... they love acappella! Since their humble beginnings in 1992 as three gentlemen looking to change the course of aca-history, the Boston University Dear Abbeys have been lucky enough to perform across the country, at acappella competitions and concerts, and for 28 wonderful years on Boston University's campus. Since winning ICCAs in 2005, the group has performed from coast to coast — from New England to Florida, from California to Arkansas — their mission being to bring their music with them wherever they go, inspiring others to create their own music. In the past they have been so lucky as to team up with musical heavyweights like Steven Tyler, Ben Folds, NOTA, and Ball in the House. To date, the Abbeys have produced eleven studio albums and are working on some more music as we speak (ooo). They enjoy music of all genres including modern pop, jazz, big band, soul/r&b, and more.
